Recommended Websites Avoiding Traffic Tickets Traffic tickets are inevitable for those who don't follow traffic rules. While unquestionably obvious, the easiest way to avoid a traffic ticket is to simply obey the traffic law. Here are a few practical ways to help you avoid traffic tickets: Know the traffic rules. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. You should know all of the traffic rules and obey the road signs at all times. Don’t break traffic laws! Some states or towns have different traffic rules, so it's better to make a research if you’re driving away from home. Drive carefully. This is one of the most important things to remember when you're driving. Refrain from overspeeding. This is the number one reason why drivers get ticketed. Aggressive or erratic driving can irritate other drivers and put you and others in danger, even if you are not breaking any rules. You have to know the road speed limitation. Most importantly, don't drink and drive! Check your car. Avoid driving with broken or burnt-out lights and cracked windshields. Drive in a good condition. It is very important that you are in good condition when driving. Don't drive if you are not feeling well or feeling sleepy. Don't do anything that can distract when your are driving like eating or using cell phone. Pull over if you really need to answer you phone and catch up some air or have some coffee. Don't drive. It's the surest way to avoid a traffic ticket, or at least lessen it. Automotive
